  9. WINFTPD deamon - but still have the worst hanging FTP Server on the planet.  I
  10. would LOVE to register the thing, but it FAILS to do the most simple things on
  11. my system.  It must be my setup, but for the life of me I can't figure it out.

  14.   I would love to run Linux, but that is not an option right now, so I want
  15. something that works well under Windows 3.1 (and/or WFW 3.11).  I fell Alun's
  16. program is perfect for me, but I get the following major problem(s).

  18.   One can ftp to my machine, but AS SOON AS you issue an LS or DIR, it locks
  19. the session - not the deamon!  You can start yet another session while another
  20. is hung, but with the same results.  You can successfully issue other commands
  21. (like mkd, rmd, pwd, etc), but the output from ls and dir never shows up.  The
  22. only thing the log shows at this point is ... LIST (start) that the end of it.

  29.     3c509 (3COM) Ethernet Card
  30.     PCTCP 2.31 and 1.2beta (latest) Winsock
  31.     Windows 3.1 (patched to 3.11)

  33.   I can successfully run WinQVT/Net although it sometimes hangs (stops
  34.   respoonding to the system) when closing a telnet session.  I also run
  35.   WinTalk and TextServer without any troubles.  I can run TimeSynch, but it
  36.   also hang just after setting the correct time.

  38.   Any information is welcome.  Please help me.
